2019 – 2020 Concert Series

Dear Lovers of Chamber Music,

The Directors of the Whistler Chamber Music Society regret to announce that our last performance of the 2019-2020 season,  the Touch of Brass on April 5th, has been cancelled due to concerns of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. 

The health and wellbeing of our audience and musicians are our highest priorities. Following the lead of the RMOW and  recommendations of the local health authorities, and, given that seniors make up a significant portion of our audience, we feel that this is the right thing to do at this time.  The WCMS will continue to monitor the ever-changing situation and will work hard to re-schedule this ensemble later in the spring, early summer or in the fall.
