Pacific Baroque Orchestra Chamber Players
Harpsichordist Alex Weimann, violinists Chloe Meyers and Christi Meyers join together to perform a selection of Trio Sonatas–the “pop” music of the 17th and 18th Century. Playing period instruments like those used at the time–Baroque violins and a harpsichord–these three outstanding musicians from the Pacific Baroque Orchestra bring their expertise and love of this music to show listeners why it gained such a following during the Baroque era. Corelli, Vivaldi, Handel, Bach, Purcell and many other composters wrote multiple Trio Sonatas which we continue to enjoy today.
